This is not just giberish, but rather a look at how Dairy Creek Golf Course was designed to retain water and run-off on site. We typically have three ponds on the golf course within the areas of our 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th holes. After this years rain events we now seemingly have one large lake. Thus, making 1 from 3. Thanks for posting the pictures, it has been a few weeks since I have been at Dairy, looks like I won't be playing this weekend either. I know your guys will make it all look great soon.
ReplyDeleteWe opened the gate to spill water last night and the ponds dropped 2 feet overnight. Back to three ponds this morning and we are still spilling water. Soggy conditions this weekend, but the course will be in good shape. If you want dry conditions this weekend head to Morro Bay as the course there will be dry within a couple of hours after the rain stops. Hit 'em straight!
